The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings of Brecon, with a variety of walking routes just a short drive away. the property itself exceeded our expectations, with its excellent standard and attention to detail. the highlight for us was definitely the BBQ hut, which delighted my son who believed it was the Gruffalo's house. It was wonderful to be able to cook even when it was raining, and the hut was easily accessible. the bath was another great feature, providing a luxurious treat after a day of hiking. the little touches, such as the pleasant scents and decorative items, along with the high-quality towels and bedding, made our stay even more special. We also appreciated the convenience of having two pubs within walking distance if we didn't feel like cooking. Lastly, the lovely fire kept us warm on colder days, which unfortunately we experienced even in August. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

I recently stayed at The Pencerrig Collection at Walkers Cottage for a weekend getaway. The cottage was beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and high-quality bed linen and towels. The highlight was the huge bath, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring. Additionally, there were 4 large umbrellas provided, which came in handy during the rainy weather. The location was great, with two pubs within walking distance and plenty of nearby walking trails. I would highly recommend a stay at this charming cottage.
Totally recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at The Pencerrig Collection At Walkers Cottage! The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and comfortable, with a cozy layout and a huge bathtub. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bed linen and towels were of high quality. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the mountains and valley, and close proximity to major walks in the Brecons. We enjoyed exploring the friendly village and visiting the nearby pubs, especially the Red Cow pub. The lovely neighbors were also a great help when we had issues with the key box. I highly recommend this cottage for a wonderful and cozy stay in the area.

The cottage was beautifully furnished and had a comfortable atmosphere. The shower was excellent and the cottage also had a big bath. The location was perfect, with major walks in the Brecons nearby and a reservoir within walking distance. The two pubs in the village were very friendly and served excellent food. The cottage's terrace offered a lovely view across the valley, making it a great spot to relax in the morning.
Parking was not very convenient as there was no dedicated parking available. It was a case of finding a space on the road if one was available.

The holiday home was perfect for hiking and cycling. I enjoyed the fireplace and the private entrance. The towels offered were a nice touch.
Oh, how I loved bringing my own oven mitt and dealing with a broken fridge door. Such a delightful inconvenience.

The cottage was absolutely stunning, with beautiful interior design and high-quality finishes. It had everything we needed and more, and even smelled amazing! The fire pit area and hobbit house were such fun additions. We also loved the convenient location, close to local attractions, two pubs, and gorgeous hiking trails. The terrace provided a lovely view across the valley, and the quirky staircase added even more character to the cottage.
While our stay was mostly fantastic, parking wasn't very convenient. we were disappointed that no logs were provided on our arrival, and the lighter didn't work.
